Hey folks,

I am using VB 6 with MapPoint 2006

It seems that once I open a MapPoint instance some of my windows become hidden from the start but some don't. If I open a dialog box using using the Microsoft control (open or same file dialog) it hides the window and the dialog box the moment it comes up. If I click on the Icon of the application from the status bar it will reappear out of focus but it I click on it to put it into focus the window will disappear again.

Any idea whats happening?

you probably have a windows handle wrong or overwritten one. check all variables you have placed on the stack.
