mapping 2 sets of locations with distance

Good morning,

Is there a way to map 2 sets of locations and identify the distance between locations within 50 miles of one another? Example, we have 100 locations and our national sales force likes to map the locations of customers in relation to our locations. The way we've been doing this is extremely time consuming - is there an efficient way?

thanks for your help!

Hi,

You can put them in 2 different datasets. There is a method DistanceTo() to calculate the distance trough the birds eye of view.

Re: mapping 2 sets of locations with distance

Hi Jill,

This is probably inefficient also, but it could be automated:

Import your company's locations and use a red triangle pushpin
Then import your client's locations and use a blue triangle pushpin
Next, go to the drawing toolbar and pick the radius tool
Draw any size circle, then right-click on it and select 'show size'
Expand the circle to 50 miles and copy and paste it to each loc.

Hi ,
You can use Gps Navigation Systems that can help you for knowing distance between two locations.
