I exported the census tracts for an area in MapPoint 2002 and notice that there are duplicate census tracts. It appears that MapPoint is not using complete census tract IDs. The problem I have is that I am trying to create a look up table by census tract. Any suggestions?

I'm not aware of the issue.. what part is it omitting? Would it be possible to recontruct the missing part if it's a larger geography (i.e. state or county?).

Otherwise, can you accomplish what you need with the (free) data at census.gov?
