Hello everybody,

ather I installed MapPoint 2004 Europe I always get an error while I´m close the application by vb. Does anyone knows about this problem? There was no problem with MapPoint 2002.

Set oMap = Nothing
Set objResults = Nothing

Error message: Microsoft MapPoint has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Maybe the order in which you are destroying your objects? ie: you destroy the oMap then objResults?

Not sure but you could expermint with the order or comment out the lines altogether and add them back one at a time.
