Hi all,

I just installed Mappoint 2004 on a test machine to do some extra test with this machine and our software. I first test to see that mappoint correctly works before we start our software.
The problem we have is that all line thickness is (visually) multiplied by 10. If a draw a manuel line (xxx km) that line is very very thick. When I select the line thickness popup menu I can only select beween 14pt but the menu is stretched over more that 80% of the screen height (1280x1024) en you can see that there is another line with option above it but it is not selectable, the point size says 14pt but visuale it look more like a 500pt line. Everything you do with lines, it is large and thick.

We have reinstalled Mappoint, changed users (other user profile), changed the registry where the line thickness matches that of the development machine, nothing (for now) seems to work in getting the line width back to normal.

We have installed a lot of Mappoints with our clients and never say this strange effect. It is like Mappoint reads this 'setting' of the line width and multiplies it by 10 or 20 ??

In our software, where we give a linesize of 1 (small) when we draw lines and those also are drawn als very very large and thick lines, a GPS route almost obcures complete europe !!

Any ideas on how to fix this ? Else we need to reinstall the complete computer and hope this will fix the problem ?

Hi Danny,

I have no idea, but is font normally on that machine ? I have seen strange graphical results with many programs (also mine) if font is set to large/small etc.. instead of default.
