| Mappoint 2006 Will not start!! Yesterday evening, I installed MapPoint 2006 (US) on one of our sales guys laptops. It would not start up at all! Just got the splash screen and then nothing. The stats in taskmanager would indicate that it had totally frozen. I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any incompatibility or co-residency issues. The laptop in question also has MapPoint 2004 EU edition on it, but surely, surely Microsoft have tested this kind of co-residency. I'm reluctant to remove 2004 because, he's got a big presentation at the end of the week and even though the EU version wouldn't be ideal, at least it would be something (assuming 2006 US still doesn't work) Any ideas anyone?         |

That combination should work. This development PC here has: North America: 2002,2004,2006 Europe: 2002 I have found a problem when double clicking on a map 2004 map - 2006 starts, but consistently crashes. To load a 2004 map, I have to start 2006 and then tell it to open the 2004 map. Richard
