Just installed MapPoint 2009 today...like other's, I'm significantly disappointed at several items...i.e. the limit of pushpins.

I went to Mapping-Tools.com and installed the "Load Custom Symbol" like it said (see Pushpin Symbols for Microsoft MapPoint 2009).

While installing, I keep receiving the following error:

Run-time error '20476':
The FileName buffer is too small to store the selected file name(s). Increase MaxFileSize)

The only option is to select "OK".

Has anyone else run into this? If so, have you found a resolution?

Thoughts? Words of wisdom?

This sounds like a bug for John Meyer (the author) to fix.

As a workaround, I would suggest you import them a few files at a time?

Thanks for the insight on this. Any idea of how to get in touch with John Meyer in the event he is unaware of this bug?

I have about 15 different users to update...and am not real crazy about importing a few files at a time on all 15 machines...if you know what I mean.
