Copy from one legend to the other legend.

Sorry I forgot that vital piece of information.

    See if that works.

I did the copy & paste from one legend to the other. It transferred the pushpins but in the Mappoint style of pushpins. I want the same pushpins with my information from streets & trips.

Edit: You may need to import old-style pushpins before anything else, though.

I can copy & paste the pushpins from Streets & Trips to Mappoint with no problem. Its just that its not saving the different icons that I saved for each specific pushpin. I guess I'm going to have to change the icons individually.

Alright. I've figured it out on how to transfer my saved pushpins from Streets & Trips 2008 to MapPoint 2009. It took me some time to do but I did it. Marvin, whats the program that you used for the screen capture/attached thumbnails in the previous post?

It appears that the MPPushpin.exe creates a new "New North American Map.ptt" template file. Is that correct?

    Re: Mappoint 2009 pushpins

OK, there has been a lot (and I mean a LOT) of discussion about getting the complete set of 336 pushpin images from MapPoint 2006. Here it is.

I am also working on a template for MapPoint2009 which incorporates these images; however, I am finding that when you "Save As" using the "Template" (ptt) Save As Type, the Symbols collection gets filled, not only with the symbols you import, but also with other images (i.e. weather) that can be assigned to pushpins programatically, but are not visible in the "Create Pushpin" drop down list. Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone have an explanation?

    Regards,

    Chris
