You cannot. You could if the structure of the mappoint database was published, but as far as I know it is not.

Hey Eric - just using Mappoint 2010 for the first time today. Do you know if business parks are available for Canada? I do a search for business parks in MP and it only gives me ones in the US.

Any thoughts?

Business are supposed to be places for work, not play! Leaves the parks open and free - don't crowd them with businesses and factories! But seriously sorry I don't know.

j_dub99, you may have a better luck searching for individual businesses, for example you may not be able to locate "Smart Center", but you may find "Staples".

MapPoint Review

My business wants to purchase MapPoint 2010 which will upgrade us from the 2009 version. Can anyone tell me what issues we might face with opening & accessing/editing our maps saved in the 2009 version with our new 2010 version? It will take some time to transition everyone to the 2010 version, so we'll have employees using either 2009 or 2010 and both will need to access & create maps.

Are there compatibility issues we should plan for? If so, is there a work-around so both version can be used to access & edit maps (do we need to save-down from 2010 to the 2009 version when creating new maps in vs. 2010...is that possible?)

I appreciate any guidance anyone can give me on this.

As far as I know the saved maps in the 2009 version can open / edit in 2010 version.

Has the Broomfield County problem been solved? MapPoint doesn't acknowledge some Broomfield county censustracts as valid geography to add mapping data to at the censustract level. Please see attached pdf of screen shot of censustracts that are missing data.

Good morning,

I'm trying to find out if there are updates to MapPoint 2010 on a regular basis where it will update new strets. I noticed that there are streets listed in a hardcopy map book that are not yet listed in MapPoint 2010.

I own a landscaping company, and I get calls from potential customers in new developments on a regular basis.
