Have you ascertained whether the new 2010 census tract geography has been incorporated to this edition? Thanks!

There are a few GPS-related changes not mentioned above, and perhaps not mentioned on the official site, either.

- If someone uses MP for navigation, they will very much appreciate that they no longer have to "Agree" with the "Safety Warning" each time they enable navigation;
- Heading (N/E/S/W) is displayed in the Navigation pane;
- Speed (MPH/KMH) shown even in full screen mode;

Other changes I see include:
- Maps now include such detail as individual lanes within large public parking lots;
- Show/Hide all pushpin names;
- Create larger drivetime zones;

Unfortunately they are not, it's still the same old demos from MP11 (and MP10!). Not sure why, but I'm guessing the production process for the product is set up to bring in data from a vendor who didn't release in time to make it into this version of MapPoint? I'll try to get more explanation from the team.

In any case, I'm working on a demographics project right now that incorporates Census 2010 data into MapPoint 2013, potentially all the way down to the block level, so watch this space as I may have a solution for you.

I had downloaded the trial version over the holiday and also confirmed it's using the old tracts. Too bad, our territories are tract-based.

In MapPoint 2011, I noticed that not all of the postal codes were being plotted accurately (e.g - may be a block away, especially in the more rural areas). Does MapPoint 2013 have improved accuracy in that sense?
Otherwise, is there a way for me to make my plots more accurate? I already thought that using postal codes would be better than using addresses.

Hi Eric, this idea of incorporating 2010 census data into MapPoint is interesting. Actually it isn't the census data I am interested in, it is the geography of the 2010 census tracts themselves, and the ability to import various other data at the 2010 census tract level into MapPoint. Any update on your project, or any thoughts or info on how to go about it you can share? Or, any idea about when Microsoft might make the functionality available?
