MapPoint Accesses Bluetooth

I have a slight problem with MapPoint. Every time it loads both as the main program or within a C# application it accesses my Bluetooth for a few seconds before allowing the program to load. Does anyone know why this happens and how i can stop it?

Re: MapPoint Accesses Bluetooth

It's probably something to do with the printer?

It's looking for the default printer possibly..

My other thought is it might be that "Microsoft Location Sensor" or whatever it's called that runs in the systray and tries to detect where you are. It looks for your W-Fi Mac Address.

So besides the printer it might be looking for a network connection.

Re: MapPoint Accesses Bluetooth

Thanks for the reply, my network connection is a wireless one and the default printer is a network one.

Also i dont notice anything loading into the system tray when it loads just the bluetooth icon going green

seems strange it should access the bluetooth. currently i have no profiles set up but when i did it used to try connecting to the device which was another pc
