| MapPoint ActvieX and .Net Web Application I am building a web-based application using .NET and JavaScript that uses MapPoint’s ActiveX control in one of the modules. My requirements are to minimize the installation of components in the client PCs on the network. As per the current setup, the web application requires MapPoint 2004 to be installed in the client machine. We do not want to use the MapPoint Web Service since it requires an Internet connection. Is there a better way I could leverage MapPoint 2004 for a browser based intranet solution considering the above constraints? What is the significant difference between runtime version of MapPoint 2004 and full version of MapPoint 2004? Thanks, Ram |
