Since the inception of the MapPoint product, a great number of third-party tools, both free and commercial and have been developed for Microsoft MapPoint.

What's your favorite and find most useful in your day to day MapPoint work? Post as a reply to this thread and if inclined share what you think are the best features and why you are nominating the tool.

I think MPSuperShape is great, as you can create all the rings required in one go to allow extraction of data. The only downside is that each export has to be done individually to get all the data if some asre polygon based, also identifying which ring is what export is difficult on a global extract.

Personally I'd bet the most people have gotten great value out of the Pushpin Tool for MapPoint... I helped John Meyer put this together as a beta tester and I think I actually suggested the name "Pushpin Tool" instead of "Balloon Tool" as well as the export with lat/lon functionality which is probably the most vital feature

Thanx to all guys created this trimendous software.

IC-Route Manager would be the best Add-In for the type of mapping I do.

The Fullversion 2011 (available April 2011) will also include GPS-export of MapPoint-routes to TOMTOM, GARMIN etc.
