I was wondering if anyone has ever sucessfully gotten mappoint to work with DCOM. I can get mappoint to run, but it does not register witht the DCOM server. I don't have that much experinece with DCOM so I may be missing something. Any insight would be appreciated whether it has to do with mappoint specifically or simply getting applications like mappoint to work with DCOM.

All I am trying to do at the moment is simply create a map object from the
MapPoint object library. MapPoint opens but it idles and then the DCOM server issues a timeout.
