Hi,

I'm new to using the mappoint com object. I created a simple windows form with the mappoint control and this all works fine in vs. The problem arises when i tried to run the release code on the same machine i've been developing on.

I get the "mappoint failed to load . The cause of this failure is unknown".

This is the line of code that generated the error.

axMappointCtl.NewMap(MapPoint.GeoMapRegion.geoMapEurope);

I'm using VS 2005 on Vista with Mappoint 2006.

Any help or guidance greatly appreciated.

And does the debug version run outside de debugger?
