| how to upload
Hi smatusz Yes, you can upload to your Garmin Etrex. There's a free COM add-in called "WaypointsToGPS". Although it was designed for MapPoint 2001, it works without any problems with my Garmin Etrex (the basic yellow one) and MapPoint 2002 Europe. Probably it'll also work with your Vista. Here's the URL : http://www.elspeet.info/mpgps/ Place pushpins on your map and after that upload them to your Etrex by using the COM add-in (chose NMEA mode in your Etrex interface menue). Now you have the waypoint, and you can edit the routes with your Etrex. Oh, and please excuse my english... I'm german. Feel free to ask further questions if the add-in won't work. |
