hello,
I want to know whether the places on the map can be shown in different languages like Chinese, Arebic.
I have trial versions of MapPoint 2002 and MapPoint Europe 2002. In both of these version I could see the map data iin English, the european version says it could support other 5 languages, do I have to buy these lagnguage support from the vendor or they come with the package in single license?
what do I do to show the map data in Chinese?

MP Europe comes in several "flavors" i.e. different languages. They are all separate versions. MP NA just comes in English.

Chinese and Arabic unfortunately are not options for MP EU (or NA).

i want to show map data (location labels) in Czech. Would i have to buy a Czech version? please reply me with the url if possible.

There isn't a Czech version.

MapPoint will respect many of the operating system localisation settings (eg. number formatting) but does not have dictionaries of place names for multiple languages. So you will have to choose one of the available languages (English, French, German, etc) and buy that version.
