MapPoint and MapInfo

Is it possible to view MapInfo data within MapPoint 2002. I have some .TAB data that I would like to view. Also it is possible to export the MapPoint streets into MapInfo Pro?

Use Safe software's tool: http://www.mp2kmag.com/articles.asp?ArticleID=63 or the free developer sample: http://www.mp2kmag.com/news.asp?NewsID=20 (you would need to export your tab files to mif/mid first).

To get a MapPoint map into MapInfo, first create a screenshot or image by doing a Save As HTML, then open and register it in MapInfo.. be sure to follow all copyright rules. Also, you cannot get the streets from MapPoint into MapInfo as vector format.

If you want to work with real-world coordinates, you have to know a little MapInfo and pick some registration points, but yes I think it's easy to do..

Much easier if you don't register the image, just bring it in for Display.
