    MapPoint.net and VB6 interop

I am currently extending a VB6 application to use basic mapping functionality using MapPoint. I've prototyped using MP 2002 to display pushpins, routes, give driving directions, etc. I am now looking at what it would take to use MapPoint.net. I'm wondering if anybody has used this WebService based application from a VB6 app. If so what are the complications with it? Using the COM object from 2002 was extremely easy, but I'm not sure where to begin with the WebService Version.

In my understanding, MS is still working on exposing the full functionality of MapPoint 2002 in MapPoint .NET.. if you can't do it yet, check with the next version of the service.. there is a MapPoint .NET newsgroup with MS employees posting regularly who might be better able to answer your question..
