MapPoint Question Please Help

I'm learning my way into mappoint.

I've connected MapPoint to my OLAP cube. And the map styles are displayed ok. I get sales by country/town/city and all.

My question is...I'm using a cube. Is there a way I can drill down using MapPoint? Like, I can see a map by state. And it displays to me a shaded area style saying a particular state has high sales. When I zoom in, I see the city break downs???

Second question is...I just see legends. Is there a way I also see a tabular data in MapPoint???

Thanks!!! Please I need ur reply ASAP!!

FYI: OLAP = On-Line Analytical Processing

MapPoint supports displaying summaries by geography, if you plot your data as something other than Pushpins (i.e. use Shaded Area) you can select "Geography for every zoom level" which should do nearly what you want.

You might need to change your OLAP data setup to display by the finest resolution you want, then let MapPoint aggregate it up to each geography level.

PS: Clarification

In plain English, OLAP as it applies to MapPoint is geographic data mining, aggregating to different levels of detail.

As an example (what I think jetski is trying to do):
You want to see sales by state,
then zoom in to an under-performing state to see what counties did poorly,
then zoom in on a county to see how each zip code affected sales.

Several definitions are here: http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3Aolap
