MapPoint Reads Data from TracWise GPS Datalogger

There is a new GPS system that has extensive data logging functions. It is called TracWise I. The unit is mainly intended for commercial and fleet vehicles and trucks, but it might also be useful in other fields.

The purpose of the system is to log vehicle travel data for a significant period of time, using GPS information.

Output from the program can be displayed directly in Microsoft Streets & Trips, MapPoint, Street Atlas USA, and many other programs. It also comes with tools for analysis in Excel. The program can produce comma-delimited text files that can be read by many types of database, spreadsheet, and mapping programs. TracWise appears to be very flexible and compatible with many types of standard programs.

This is a powerful GPS data logging system with extensive reporting features. Most of all, it can record GPS data 24 hours a day for weeks at a time.
