we have a number of outlets throughout the country (UK) and I would like to print off all the towns on mappoint 2004 that we don't have an outlet to enable me to target those areas. Does anyone know if it is possible to print off or export to excel all the towns that are stored in mappoint to allow me to cross reference them.

You can extract the names of boundaries with demographics, I don't know if they have demographics for towns in the UK but maybe some census division ?

Basically you set up a shaded map with any demographic variable and then draw a shape around all of them and right-click -> Export to Excel.
