Is there just a mappoint viewer, so I can distribute my maps and have people view it without mappoint?

Hi,

To make just a viewer, just drop a mappoint component on your form and eather call NewMap to load default map, or OpenMap to load a saved map.

But to distribute the viewer, all of your users will need a licensed copy of MapPoint.

Okay, I created an little app and now I stumped by the Map Point Control Licensing.... msdn said each computer needs a full copy of Map Point or the Map Point Control Licensing, but I cant find any info on the Licensing. I'm sure I could call them and find out, but I'm more interested in hearing from people who've gone thru the process.

I _think_ you can install the mappoint control only + the maps if you choose custom install. I _think_ that's what is meant by the 'mappoint control licence'.
