Hi everyone. I recently inherited a version of MP 2002 without a user manual so I don't know if this is easy to solve. I have specific place on the map and I also have a list of zip codes in Excel. I need to know which of the Excel zip codes are within a certain radius of my starting point. Is there a way to do this? Thanks for the help!

In MapPoint, use the Data Mapping wizard and visualize some random demographic variable (like Population), by ZIP code.

Then use the Radius tool to draw a circle centered on your area of interest. Right-click this circle and choose Export to Excel for the pop-up menu.

The resulting EXcel sheet includes all ZIP codes that have their centroid inside the radius. :P :P
