This is really cool! AFAIK they were still talking about possibly making a business case for it, I guess they went ahead!
MapPoint 2010 Europe is also back on MSDN.
Just been having a quick look at what data is available.
Looks like Ireland (Eire) now has a decent street network. So does Greece. Romania does not - just major roads. Haven't checked the other countries.
Demographics are listed for: Austria, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, World.
However, when you plot the "Great Britain" ones and go back into the demographics Mapping Wizard, the existing plots appear as "Great Britian". Oops.
British demographics is not as extensive as the US dataset. They cover the Highlands, Islands (Hebrides, Orkneys, Shetlands), but not Northern Ireland or the bailiwicks (Isle of Man, Channel Islands).
