| Most efficient way to correct addresses? I have 10,000 addresses to import. I split them up by 1000. In that 1000 around 400 fail either by only finding zip or not finding anything at all. Most of these roads have been around for years. As I mentioned before it often suggests the exact same address. And of course a good part of it is just plain bad addresses on our part. However, I would mention that msn maps finds a good part of the "bad addresses" but map point still doesn't like them. What can I do to more efficiently correct these? I have exported the "bad addresses" to an excel spreadsheet and try to correct them there. It doesnt really help the ones that it already knows but doesnt like them. After I correct them, how can I import them back to the main spreadsheet and replace the bad ones with the corrected addresses without scrolling and deleting the duplicates? I tried using filter on excel but my limited excel knowledge is probably keeping me from doing it correctly. I also have the use of a person that is familiar with access. If it can be done in access I have access to it also. I am also waiting for my copy of MP for dummies however, I fear that it wont be of any help in this area. Thanks in advance. -Marcie |
