    mouse down event

Is there a way to have multiple polyshapes drawn on a map, click on one of them and have a text box or msg box tell the name of the polyshape? I tried the mouse down event and it got REAL ugly while navigating the map.

    Try the selection change event.

You might be able to use a function I posted awhile back, here is the link.
