Atom is looking to use the actual files he created (such as shapes, pushpins, etc.) in S&T and use them in MapPoint. This would be good to know because I had to resort to doing a Cut & Paste from a MapPoint file onto a S&T file to give to a client who does not own MapPoint. The items paste exactly where they were when cut, but even with a small amount of data, it takes a while... there has got to be a better way.
Yes this is correct. Im sorry if I wasnt clearer. I work for a fiber optic cabling company. I design the routes and lay them out currently in s&t. on top of that, i include our splicing matrix in text boxes, w/ pushpin locations of the splice points, cable segment information, etc. i basically cram alot of information into s&ts and need to be able to open those files in mappoint.

we purchased MapPoint 2006 and I am glad to say that opening streets and trips' .est files work perfectly.

When you go to open a file, you can actually choose .est from the drop down menu for file types. So it doesnt need a plugin, hack or any special programming to get it to work.
