I use MapPoint inside ACI appraisal software and I also use it as a stand alone program when I do commercial narrative reports. Inside the ACI software, once I have locations on the map, I can drag and drop them and the text balloons anywhere I want. When I am using the stand alone version, I cannot drag the text balloon where I want it, but have to use the orientation feature...which gives me only 4 places to put that balloon...which sometimes isn't good enough on an appraisal where 4 locations may be on the map and will often be too close together. The text balloons often get obscured by one another.
Is there a way in the stand alone version to make it operate like it does within ACI? Or might there be supplemental software that would interface with MapPoint to get this feature?
