| MP 2004 won't run without a network connection cannot start without being connected to the network. No one else gets this message. Anyone know a fix? When he is logged in to the company's network, Mappoint 2004 runs just fine. Reinstalls failed to correct it. We are running Mappoint completely from the user's c: drive using Windows XP and Office XP.         |

Hi Doug, This sounds vaguely familiar -- try changing the default printer or deleting it. I think MapPoint is possibly trying to find the default printer and is failing because it's a network printer. Eric
