MP 2006: How to get longitude and latitude in VB.Net?

Hi,

I got a project in VB.Net where I need to extract long/lat based on address/city/zip code/country. Can you share some tips/resources about geocoding with VB.Net and MapPoint 2006?

Thank you!

Srdjan

Look for the code that compute latitude and longitude given a location object of Gilles Kohl, posted either here, or on Internet.
You must find get a location object, using the address you have, then use the function above for lat/long.

Actually, MapPoint 2006 has lat/lon properties on the Location object, so there shouldn't be any need for Gilles Kohl's routine.

Sergio,

This sounds like a pretty straightforward project. Let us know how far you've gotten and if you get stuck.
