Question MP 2009 - Improving Data Import/Mapping?

I have recently started using MapPoint to see what results I can generate using mailing databases that I use for mail processing. These mail databases have been processed with address certification and move update procedures, but MapPoint still seems to have trouble mapping some of them.

It seems to me, at first glance at least, that MapPoint is a bit behind as far as its ability to map data that would match closely to USPS addresses. I would think that the USPS would have better accuracy than most as far as addresses go, so I'm guessing the problem is with MapPoint.

Just for an example, Map Point does not seem to want to recognize zip cod 61705, which I believe is a newer zip code as of July 08, but is valid nonetheless (for mailing purposes, at least).

Is there something I should be doing to improve the mapping of data? Or is a certain amount of data loss to be expected? I wanted to contact Microsoft direct on this, but was unable to find much in the way of MapPoint support on their site.
