MP will take most sizes of lat and long, except when you are using 5 decimal places and only the least significant is non-zero - like -0.00001 If you import that into MP and look at the data matching properties -> matching it shows it as -1e-005 which looks like it causes an internal problem!
And if you are tracking in a place such as London, then you will eventually run across this problem sooner or later!

this resolution is around 1 meter from zero (null meridian), so easy workaround is to make it a little larger if it is so small.
