MS Access Mappoint ActiveX

I can not find away to set a Mappoint.Dataset object from Access using the ActiveX control. Can anyone give me a tip on how to set a dataset to a table or query that exists within the Access database displaying the map.

Just a heads up to save anyone the time, the question at beginning of thread is about working with the MapPoint ActiveX CONTROL - the link posted is use of MapPoint using win32 api - WITHOUT using the control, nice article, but of no use if you're seeking the same as the author of the original post.
