| Multi-multi-core AMD chips "AMD recently began selling a final version of a four-processor chip, code-named Barcelona, which required slight changes to fix a defect that was discovered after the product was announced last September. It plans to follow up late this year with another version, code-named Shanghai, that benefits from more advanced manufacturing to improve calculating speed and reduce energy consumption." Murphy's Law says that as soon as you buy a computer, then within one day you'll find either a cheaper price; a better machine for the same price; or both! Richard
