Here's my request should anyone be so kind. I have been searching high and low through various resources and though I know there is an application, it is beyond my expertise at this point.

I have MP 2009 and want to take a list of names and addresses in Excel and access the demographic data in Mappoint. Specifically, I want to set a median income threshold in Mappoint and then sort the names and addresses back in Excel based on the desired income extrapolated from the data set.

Currently, I can get the data by census tract back in Excel but it comes back with all census tracts when I highlight them with the box in Mappoint. The problem, the census tracts come back without the names and addresses imported from Excel, even though they have been plotted. I know I'm possibly missing a step here, but frustration rules the day here thus far!

Is there a way to take a fixed number of names and addresses, extract the demographic info from Mappoint, and export the list back into Excel or would Access be a better alternative? What would be the most efficient way to achieve this in anyone's opinion?

I have code that exports this info. It uses ObjectsFromPoint
at the pushpin location. See programming info for those keywords
in MapPoint help.
