Mappoint 2006
After much searching I located a macro that allows me to import multiple locations from excel and automatically draw a radius around the points. A great help! Next I import other data points to my map and determine which ones are inside/outside my radi.

I need a macro that will identify all points inside all radi on the map and export the data (name, city, state for example) to excel. Perhaps i don't need a macro? I'm familar with the mappoint export funtion but I can't figure out how to sellect all radi and export the points inside. Ideally, I'd like a worksheet that list points that are inside and those that are outside the drawn radi.

Any help is appreciates! (my first post here)

There isn't a macro or programmatic command to Export To Excel,
so this will have to be done using custom programming.

I had a similar project a few months ago when I had a London property dataset of approx 3500 locations and I needed to be able to draw radii around tube stations and output all properties in each of the radii along with their associated data fields. The only difference with what you’re after is mine included duplicates (many properties were within a radius of more than one station). Anyway I put together some rough code in excel vba to do it and if you’d like me to dig out a copy of the excel workbook then please let me have your e-mail. If I remember rightly I tried to write the code in a reasonably generic way, so it should get you started.
