| New 2004 user trying to Access Demographic Data in trial ver I just installed the Mappoint 2004 trial version onto my computer. I did a complete installation (just over 1GB) and I'm trying to access demographic data. When I go to Data menu, data mapping wizard, and try to add demographic info (from Mappoint 2004) that option is not available. Is there a way to unlock the demographic data? I can't imagine that Microsoft would ship a powerful business mapping software without giving the evaluator access to the demographic data. Has anyone else run into this problem? Is there a way to unlock the data? Mike         |

| Demographic Data
Mike- I just installed the trail version on my computer as well. I have not had any probelms accessing any of the demographic data. Make sure you have at least 1 point that you are cross referencing the data with. For example, I have been creating push-pin maps and I found that when I tried to create just a map of demos I couldn't do it either. However, when I entered zip codes from my database of customers and then asked for the demo data I didn't have a problem. Hope it works for ya. I am still new to this too. |
