We've been working on a new "skin" or look for MapForums in the last couple days, we apologize for the periodic outages and problems that have occurred...

Re: New "Skin"

I wouldn't change a thing! Your original design is perfect. Any change to the pushpin icons would be a change for the worse.

You gave me an idea for my forum, but I doubt I will be able to think of some design as great as yours.

Re: New "Skin"

Thanks for your encouragement, but I'm sure you will come up with something a lot better than my lame ones..

See the thread above to see what someone else came up with, I think it will be an improvement or at least I found the right guy to do it... I just don't have the web graphics design skills to do it right.

Re: New "Skin"

What I've seen there so far has not been better than your original design. It is not lame, Eric. MapPoint users understand the icons relate to MapPoint.

I wonder if it would make sense to make new icons to replace the icons for individual threads (the envelopes icons ).

Re: New "Skin"

Well, hopefully they will be better before I'm done

I was not going to bother with the envelopes.
