Quick answer: No. You have to wait for the next edition.
MapPoint 2004 was released in summer 2003, so MapPoint 2006 might be due out this summer...

New Streets

To make certain that you are going to get those streets in the data that you get in MapPoint, let the data vendors know where you are finding them and provide whatever information that you can on the those features.

There are 2 primary vendors that you should contact:

Tele Atlas
http://www.na.teleatlas.com/support/mapreport.html

and

Navteq

Try Autoroute 2005

Do the following:
1. Buy and install Autoroute 2005
2. Copy all 14 files from the Data directory of Autoroute to the same directory of MapPoint (make a backup copy of MapPoint files first, just in case)
3. Done

I am not familiar with the US version, but Autoroute 2005 Europe maps are much better that MapPoint 2004.

Bye.

Hi,

About autoroute ! Mappoinjt 2004 does not contain anymore streets for more as half of eurpe (half of countrys only cities displayed, no roads), while Mappoint 2002 was very complete. What about Autoroute ? If you solution works I can get many people happy

MapPoint 2006

What are the differences between Autoroute 2005 and MapPoint 2004 in the Data? Does Autoroute have a better street coverage than MapPoint?

Did somebody else test the solution from Nessuno?

Wilfried, this might be a good one for the FAQ

I've never tried this but would be great if it works!
