| Re: No answer for USB GPS Device?
The standard for GPS communication devices is "NMEA". This explicitly says "serial port" (ie. RS-232); and this is what MapPoint supports. This standard is very widespread, but there's an industry trend towards USB. The usual solution is for the manufacturer to supply a software driver that you would install on your laptop/PC/whatever. This reads the (usually proprietary) USB communications from the GPS and makes it look like a standard NMEA serial port. If your GPS came with a CD, then look on this. Or try your manufacturer.
