Hi, I'm not sure if I understeand your question. The ActiveX control is when you have / wants to display a map in your program with functionalities you want. If you want to control mappoint without any display of a map (windowless?) then the answer is Yes. You can use mappoint trough the object model and let it invisible and use all his functions. Does this answer your question ?

The map is displayed in a window that you can control. But that is all that is there, no title bar, nothing else, just the map window. You can control it size and position among other things. Steve |

What is the reason of your question ? Be default Windows can open 10000 windows, and you can even increase it in registry if nececary.
