Office 2003 conflicting with MapPoint 2002

| Office 2003 conflicting with MapPoint 2002 "Installed the Beta (Office 2003 Professional) and it did nothing to affect MapPoint 2002 on this computer (nor any other program). Suspect his problem is elsewhere. Did he perhaps have an AV program running during the install? That's almost an absolute guarantee of a flawed install." Also, I checked with the lead support person for MapPoint for MS who has personally not had a problem or heard of any problems of this sort.
