| Re: Offset two pushpin data sets
Don't multiply. Just add a constant value to the latitude. Latitude values are constant unlike longitude( not that it matters if you are plotting two locations so close to each other) 1 degree of latitude is roughly 69 miles.(111302 m) So .000001 degrees would add 1 meter in latitude. |

Thanks jonp54, My data sets are drive routes and changing only the latitude works sometimes. I guess there is no real simple solution so, I will get the geometry books out and create a function using the lat/long distance equations and the bearing. Thanks for your help.

| Weird Data problem
Sorry - I wanted to post this as a new thread but couldn't figure out how - here is my dilemna (MapPoint2006) I have an EXCEL file of about 1000 rows of zipcodes and policy counts. When I import the data into Map Point, I chose 5 discrete ranges, and then I locate a specific office location and draw a 15-mile radius. When I go to print the file or save the file some of the previous shaded areas lose their shading. I can't figure out why. If I don't save the file and print from the screen, some of the shaded areas continue to show as shaded, some are lost. I don't remember having this problem ever HELP! Mark |
