I need to map 2,000 unique street address locations in our county (USA-Sacramento, CA).

However, I get a message stating "The data set has more than 8 unique data ranges. Only the first 8 unique data ranges will be mapped."

How do I get around this major limitation?

It sounds like you are using a Multiple Pushpin map which only allows for 8 ranges. Can you do what you need to with just regular Pushpins? Or can you use a continuous range instead of discrete ranges?

I was simply using the Data Wizards' defaults, and not deviating from those.

the limitation is importing 8 at time. If you have say 20 or 30, you could import 8 at a time. The drawback is that there are only 8 colors, so the colors will be reused.

Yes, but you can have different symbols/shapes.
