    It's depend.

    if your client is not a french canadian it's a good solution.

    But, the solution 3 was the best in my case.

    I have just realized that there was more then one page to this thread.

    Therefore, my solution was good for me, because all the laptops of my customer are in English...Except for the one that was causing me problem...It is now an English one!

    However, I agree with you...Solution 3 is better!

    Next time I will look for the extra pages!

    And you know what; I am a french Canadian...But sorry for the ones that do not agree...computer "stuff" show always be English!

    Tu n'aime pas le format jj-mm-yyyy ?

    Tout est une question d'utilisation, mais les paramêtres régionnaux, à moins de barrer l'accès au panneaux de configuration, ton client va pouvoir le modifier, tu t'es-tu déjà demandé ce que ton application ferais si pour te faire "ch*#!" un utilisateur mettait la virgule au lieu du point comme délimiteur numérique...

    L'anglais est bel et bien la langue de travail, mais ne peux être imposé.

    Sorry, if my answer where in english ... but it is a english forum.
    In Vb.net it's possible to change the paramameter's for your application.

    All of my application was configured with the . and Englisg format date.

    Windows apply this configuration only for the threat created for my software.
    And i have block the , in all of the textbox used for decimal number.

    Puis ensuite, c'est vrais que c'est marrant d'écrire en français sur un forum anglais.

    Mais en informatique, dès que tu commence à jouer avec des notions plus poussé, c'est en anglais obligatoirement.

    J'ai un IBM Thinkpad R40 avec clavier Us ... obligé de mettre le clavier en mode Us-english et en même temps de dire adieux au accent.
