Yes, we have plenty of experience in line drawing both inside and outside MapPoint.

    Re: Origin/Destination Pairs

What we are trying to do if fairly basic. I'm going to have several thousand orign/destination pairs that I want drawn on a map with a line going from the origin to the destination. I've looked at some other technologies and have also looked at development using Bing maps but that is getting very spendy. I don't think that the functionality that I'm looking for is all that crazy I'm going to be talking with Eric Frost today so hopefully we will come up with something.
    Thanks for your reply!

    Re: Origin/Destination Pairs

There is this tool in the MapForums Downloads section ($99) --

Drawing Lines with MapPoint from Coordinates in Excel

It expects to have lat/lon as the input, so you would need to geocode your addresses first.

If this tool doesn't do exactly what you need, possibly it would just need minor modification. I love coding.

    Re: Origin/Destination Pairs

Just to follow up, Koch needed to draw lines between City/State pairs.

The existing tool for drawing lines between lat/lon pairs just needed minor modification.

Koch agreed to just modify the existing tool and make it available for all MapForums Download subscribers ($99).

The new tool is now posted at --

    Drawing Lines Between City/State Pairs

    Enjoy!
