Does anyone know what happened to Pepperwhite? (Pepperwhite Street Map OCX / ActiveX geocoder and mapping component for Visual Basic Delphi VC++ and ASP)

They just seemed to drop off the map about a year ago.

Did you try their phone number and e-mails?

I remember people saying that pre-sales support was spotty.. but that they would get back to customers. I got the impression it might have been one guy and he was overwhelmed.

Yes. We did regular business with them for several years, but around June of last year all the phone msg and email message boxes filled up. Their last map data CD update was in 2005. It's too bad, they had a few shortcomings but it was extremely fast and versatile.

Last time anything was recieved from pepperwhite at this company was around november 2007, anybody else heard were this guy is at. it's only 1 guy

no this Obituaries | philly.com isn't him. I think he was in his late 30s.

I'm curious if anyone ever found out about Pepperwhite... is it coming back?
