Hi. I am a novice but making good progress. I am using VS 2005 w/ VB and MapPoint 2006 and now have a program that will get my Points Of Interest inside a specific radius around a specific zip code and draw Radius at my specific size on each location on the map and save the map and upload details of these locations to an Excel spread sheet. This all works perfect. My problem is the next thing I need to do is BEFORE save the map and upload details I want to DRAW another radius on the map, personal POI, and have it include this info. At this point I can stop the map and draw the radius and the map saves with the extra radius BUT the Excel info is dropped for the extra radius. I’m sure this can be done and simply but it’s confusing me. Thanks for any suggestions in advance. Don

Hi,

If you call FindNearby a second time, then the first one is deleted, so you can only have 1 on the same map the same time.

Thanks for the input Wilfried but I'm still curious.
As I say the only thing in my whole prosess that is not working
is my EXTRA radius added manually with the mouse from the DRAW tool bar.
This extra guy shows up fine on the screen and final saved map but
is NOT included on the EXCEL sheet. I think it's in a differant catagory
that I don't understand at this point of my knowledge.

You can detect if user draw something from within custom programming. Is this what you want to establish?
