Question Preventing reordering of stops when a new stop is added

My company's product uses MapPoint 2013 in a VB.NET application (.NET 2.0). I am looking for a way to disable the optimization (reordering of stops) of a route when a new stop is added. Is there a way to do this so that the user can assign the stop numbers manually on the map? The customer is asking this because he needs to plan out his routes to take into consideration making deliveries to lighten the load ahead of a certain stop that would require the truck to climb a mountainside. Thanks.

Re: Preventing reordering of stops when a new stop is added

    Hi Rick,

MapPoint will calculate the route if you add a waypoint, but optimize only upon command.
You can probably find the route.optimize in your code.
If you provide a listbox and arrow keys, your customer should be able to reorder stops
    ie; objRoute.Waypoints.Item(2).Reorder geoMoveToTop
